Oh, so wrong. Interactions that you think should have been figured out by 2007 are still all over the map, particularly in the travel industry.
I always wonder if it’s me — you know, that person who can misinterpret interfaces at 100 paces — but lately I’ve turned over a lot of my personal holiday planning to my partner, and the differences in how we approach planning is astounding. He is technical, so will start with “open an anonymous browser window”…proceeding to “clear your cookies and now, on your other laptop”…which I would never think to do.
Kudos to you for writing about this, as I’d intended to do similar over the years but end up too frustrated to formulate it into an article. Everyone needs to read this.
